Business Concept Competition
The primary purpose of NIME Business Plan Competition is to encourage the development of new business ventures by NIME students.

Venture Capital Boot Camp
Venture Capital (VC) Boot Camp is an intensive two-and-one-half day workshop for highly motivated students interested in venture capital and entrepreneurship. NIME Entrepreneurship Club-Spring Board with the support of the Department of Entrepreneurship offers this program.

E*Boot camp
We offer an “E*Boot camp” targeted to your interests. This is an event open to all NIME students. The E*Boot camp will consist of a full day of workshops and a reception/networking session.
This program focuses on issues of tactical concern to entrepreneurs, for example: incorporating, building a team, sharing equity with founding partners, confidentiality agreements, business plans, start-up accounting, creative bootstrapping, and other funding concerns. Sessions will be led by leading entrepreneurship professors and practitioners.

Venture Capital Investment Competition (VCIC)
Learn to think like a venture capitalist by competing in the VCIC, an annual venture capital competition run by Department of Entrepreneurship.

Batten Venture Internship Program (BVIP)
For students interested in entrepreneurship but not already committed to launching their own venture, NIME offers the Batten Venture Internship Program (BVIP).
This program provides NIME students the opportunity to pursue summer internships with venture capital firms and their portfolio companies. Students gain the experience of working for a VC firm or start-up, and companies benefit from having access to talented NIME MBA students.

NIME Business Projects
Develop a Business Project, a targeted program to frame issues, analyze data, and present solutions in a real-world environment. Your BP can have a focus in venturing: doing a Venturing BP gives an individual student or team of students a chance to develop a business concept to achieve individual entrepreneurial goals.

NIME Business Incubator
The NIME Business Incubator is primarily intended to support NIME MBA students who are interested in developing promising early-stage business ventures. The Incubator experience has been designed to:

• Foster the formation and development of start-up businesses to the point of obtaining significant, third-party investment support;
• Educate participants about the process of new venture development to improve their potential for future entrepreneurial success; and create an entrepreneurial community to give students the experience of learning through mutual support - a process critical for successful entrepreneurship.
