We aim at shaping your future, instill confidence, broaden your thinking and inspire a passion for learning and development. NIME provides the tools and assistance required, for a better you.

Networking is a skill (once learnt) will enhance your time at NIME until you graduate. Networking is a valuable tool that will assist you in the marketplace. Networking is a two way street and must be mutually beneficial for both parties. Hence, it’s important for you to develop and actively practice this skill to ensure the maximum benefits.

The two major networks to tap into at NIME are the Student Network and the Career Network. You are free to connect with our faculty, business community and both directly and indirectly benefit from NIME’s strategic alliances and relationships.

Student Network

All Students
By the time you finish studying at NIME, you would have crossed paths with approximately 1,000 students. The student body at NIME represents a large networking opportunity for students. The extent of your network will depend on the amount of time you invest in building your relationships.

Class Members
The first week of class will help you identify people you’re most comfortable with. Each class consists of at least 25-50 fellow students, with varying class sizes depending upon which subjects students have chosen.

Syndicate Group Members
These group members enable you to develop significant relationships within your group. You will be spending a substantial amount of time with your syndicate group each term. A perfect opportunity for you to learn and build up a strong network within and outside your group that will keep you connected both professionally and personally.

International Students
Business is global, and so should be your network. Students at NIME come from around the world to enroll in our MBA program while interacting with one another over their core units and joining the wider student population to undertake their elective units. This enables them to mix with other students and be exposed to the realities of Indian businesses, while offering an opportunity for India-based students to develop a global network.

International Study Tour
The International Study Tour provides you with an opportunity to investigate options of leadership in another country or region of the world. Our students attend the international study tour while visiting a number of organizations, where strong relationships are forged among the students and with the executives from other international organizations.

Business Community Initiatives
NIME offers a series of business community initiatives, a part of your study where you can work on projects with an organization, or even as an intern within the organization.

Student Events
Each year NIME hosts a number of student events which plays an important role in building and developing your network. You become a part of this community the day you join NIME as a student, enabling you to be a part of these events immediately. The School also has an annual festival as well as other social events.

Student Extranet
The Student Extranet is an information portal for you, which contains information about class timetables, programs, policies, links to your class websites, online research databases and other materials.

Student Updates and Newsletters
NIME regularly sends monthly email newsletters and other information to keep you updated on what is happening at the School throughout the year.
